A little about myself :) I was born and raised in Orange County. I am greek and my life growing up was very similar to the movie "My Big Fat Greek Wedding". I am fluent in greek. I grew up enjoying my culture, religion and various activities such as greek dancing, basketball, and swimming. I grew up working in my families restaurant as a waitress and manager. As I got older I attended Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana. I graduated in 1999. After Mater Dei, I went to Orange Coast College and recieved an Associates Arts Degree in 2001. Continuing my edcuation I transfered to University of California Irvine and graduated with a BA in 2003. I still was not done with my studies and I decided to apply to the University of San Diego for completion of a Masters Degree in Education Specialization in Special Education and Special Education Credential. This is my 6th year teaching and working at Barnard Elementary School. When I moved to San Diego, I met my husband and we were married June 23,2007. Currently, my husband and I enjoy traveling, going on bike rides, going to the beach, playing with our dog "Jack" and spending time with family and friends. I try to live my life by doing what is "right". I am a woman of my word. My family and career are what I focus on. I always tell my students the number one rule is "Do your best!" and thats what I try to do! I look forward to doing "my best" and having a successful 2010-2011 school year!
